My 5 Favourite Lip Products

So after completing my 8 pieces homework I've finally found the time to sit down in front of the telly and write a good ol' blog post. Today I thought I would show you my five favourite lip products, enjoy! :)

So first is Benefit Sugarbomb Ultra Plush Lip Gloss - £12
I love the colour of this lip gloss it's quite a natural when applied to the lip
but has a bit of sparkle added to it as well. One thing I'm not too keen on
is the squeezy tube applicator, as sometimes you can get a bit to much of the product splurging out.
But apart from that I highly recommend this product.

L'Occitane Pivoine Delicate Lipstick (02) - £12.50
This is my absolute favourite lipstick, its of a similar colour to my benefit lip gloss.
It's easy to apply, nourishing and the best bit about it is that I can wear it to school.
But hurry girls it's Limited Edition.

Stila Lip Glaze in Amaretto - £15.00
Now if I could eat any of my make-up products then this would be it.
Not only is this the nicest colour lip gloss I've ever seen but it tastes amazing, just
like amaretti biscuits, yummy.
Nivea Pure&Natural Lip Balm (Milk&Honey) - £1.75
If my lips ever need a bit of TLC then this is my go to product. It really hydrates my lips
and feels like it's done a lot of good. This definitely cures chapped/dry lips.

Liz Earle Sheer Pink Lip Shimmer - £5.00
Again I love the colour of this product, it makes my lips look soft and is
the perfect size to slip into a little clutch bag on a night out.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

(From left to right: Liz Earle Pink Lip Shimmer, Benefit Sugarbomb Lip Plump, L'Occitane
Pivoine Delicate Lip Stick and Stila Lip Glaze)
I didn't swatch the Nivea lip balm as it literally is just clear.

I hope you enjoyed my little favourites post, these always seem to prove quite popular so that's why I decided to do one today.
I hope you've all had a lovely weekend and have a good start to the week!

Mini Haul

Hey everyone, I'm so sorry for not blogging the past week I've been so busy with being back at school and have found it quite difficult to fit in the time for blogging whilst doing all my school work (sad times), I definitely know what I'd prefer to be doing, aha. But anyway I thought I'd get back into things by showing you a few of the most recent things I've bought.

Collection 2000 (soon to be re-branded to 'collection') Skylash Mascara in Ultra Black - £3.99
I decided to try this out because I've seen many bloggers rave about this and you can't
really go wrong when it's at that price!

Superdrug's Travel Sized Dry Shampoo in Heart on your Sleeve - 99p
Everyone needs a little dry shampoo right?

O.P.I Nail Lacquer in Lincoln Park After Dark - Originally £11.00 but was in the sale at Pearsons
(sadly closing down *sniff*) for £8.80
I am in absolute love with this colour.

Primark Studded Denim Jacket - £18.00
I literally walked into Primark saw this and bought it, what can I say...love at first sight?
I bought this in a size 10 as I wanted it to be oversized,
I'm usually a size 6-8.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my new bits and bobs, sorry if it's not too exciting. I just had my second ear piercings done and I did buy some new earrings so let me know if you'd like me to do a blog post on the experience of it and my new purchases.

Hope you've all had a lovely relaxing weekend.

What One Beauty Product Could You Not Live Without?

So I've been sitting in my room, listening to Capital FM whilst staring at my computer screen for the past hour and have been trying to think of ideas for a new blog post. I finally came up with an idea and decided to get on with it straight away. So, my idea is 'What One Beauty Product Could You Not Live Without?'. Like I said I came up with the idea myself and basically what you have to do is choose one winning beauty product that you just could not live without and then choose two runners up. So I best get on with it really, haha.

I'll start this in reverse order so in 3rd place is.....

Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in Hazel
I've mentioned this eyebrow pencil in 2 other posts but I just couldn't not add this in today. I really hate my
eyebrows as I find that at the start of my eyebrow there is very few hairs, and I'd love
for them to be a bit thicker. So using this eyebrow pencil just makes me feel a little less self-conscious and more like I have nice, thick eyebrows.
It's really easy to use, the pigments are great and it even has a little brush on the end of the cap that you can tidy your eyebrows up with.

 In 2nd place is......

Benefits Hoola Bronzer
I bought this bronzer early on this year, and I absolutely love it. It really compliments my skin tone and is super easy to apply. It is very expensive which is one downside to the product but I still love it!

Now finally in 1st place it's.....*drum roll*.......

Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara
I didn't even have to think about this. I knew instantly that this would be the one thing I could not live without. I've repurchased it 3 times and will soon be buying it for the 4th time. I love it. And I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to have volumised and lengthened eyelashes (which is pretty much everyone, right?)

So I hope you liked my little post let me know if you liked/disliked it. I also tag all of you to try it out yourselves, leave a link below so I can have a look what beauty products you couldn't live without.

Thanks for reading

Believe In Yourself

So today I went back to school and I am now in year 10, scary stuff. I was a little nervous because I knew that today would be the day that I got my Business Communication Systems (BCS) GCSE result. For those of you who don't know what BCS is, it's basically anyone else's equivalent to using programmes like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access but it is also intertwined with Business Studies (where you learn all about the business world).

In year 9 I was put into top set (out of 4 sets), which meant I would be taking my BCS GCSE 2 years early. It was a bit hit and miss at the start of the year whether I would actually go through with it as the teachers weren't sure if I was ready. But they all had faith in me and pushed me to work hard and achieve the best grade that I could.

Early on this year I started part 1 out of 3 in my GCSE with a controlled assessment, I found this fairly easy as we had to design a small pop up shop business. I love designing things and ideas just flow into my head, so I found this quite simple and I was happy with how it turned out.

Around May time I had to do part 2 in my GCSE, the practical assessment. This meant that I would be given a scenario then would be completing tasks on all the Microsoft applications. I was really nervous as this was the first part where I would be put into proper exam format/conditions. It started to dawn on me that this was serious and even though I was doing it 2 years early and could re-take it, I really wanted to do the best that I could.

Then in June I had to sit the final part of my exam, the theory assessment. This was about all things business, and this was the one I'd been dreading the most, but again I persevered, did the best I could and just hoped that all my revising had paid off.

But anyway like I said I received my results today and.....*drum roll*......I PASSED!
I got an A* in my Controlled Assessment, B in my Practical Assessment and another A* in my theory. This meant that overall I got an A! I was so proud of myself, and it made me realise I should definitely believe in myself no matter what situation I'm in. I'd gone from maybe not even doing the exam at all to passing with an A!

Sorry if this post was a little boring but it's just massive achievement in my life and I wanted to share it with you all. There's certainly a moral behind this and it's that: 'You Should Always Believe In Yourself'.

Again sorry for not doing something fashion or beauty related I promise my next post will be back to what I normally do. If you have any questions or maybe have been through something similar to me (like doing a GCSE early) then please comment below and let me know. If you like these sort of lifestyle posts again let me know and maybe I'll do the occasional one or two a month.

Speak to you soon

Get To Know Me Tag

As I am a relatively new blogger I thought I might as well introduce myself a little more. I don't know why but I always find it easier to read about something or someone if I know a little bit more about them first. I took most of these questions off of one of  Beauty Crush's old blog posts but I have changed a few because they're a bit irrelevant. But anyway, here's your chance to get to know me!

1. Things you cannot leave the house without
My bag which carries my phone, ipod, earphones
lip balm (to nourish my lips on the go), my purse, sunglasses
and the occasional sweet or two, haha.

2. Favourite brand of makeup
I'd say my favourite brand is Benefit, the products are amazing
and I think their vintage/retro style packaging
speaks for it's self. It's such a shame about the price, it's very expensive, I still love it though.

3. Favourite flowers
My favourite flowers are daisies and violas, they're both so pretty
and small.

4. Favourite clothing store
This is a tough one. I'd say probably Urban Outfitters and
Topshop.

5. Favourite perfume
Benefits Laugh With Me LeeLee

6. Heels or Flats
Probably flats, I live in my Dr Martens and Vans.
But I do love wearing heels for special occasions.

7. Do you make good grades
I'm only 14 but I am currently awaiting my Business
Communication Systems (BCS) GCSE grade which I did
2 years early. Get my results when I go back to school
tomorrow, eeek.

8. Favourite colours
Blue and Pastel Pink

9. Favourite drink
Either a Starbucks Strawberry and Cream Frappucino or
Costa's Iced Strawberry Lemonade. I recommend both of these
they taste SO good.

10. Favourite Meal
Sirloin steak with Chips, Salad and mayonnaise.
Yummy.

11. Do you like sports
I LOVE sports, I'm really active. Sport is definitely one of my main
hobbies/passions in life. I currently play
Hockey, Netball, Rounders and Basketball. But I would love to take up
something like Kick Boxing.

12. Do you eat fries with a fork
Well if it's with a meal then yes, but if I've just got
them from the chip shop in the paper packets then no.

13. Favourite moisturiser
My favourite facial moisturiser is Liz Earle Skin Repair
Moisturiser.
My favourite body moisturiser is probably Soap & Glory's
Body Butter.

14. Do you want to get married later on in life
Yes, definitely. Got a long time before I think about that
though, haha.

15. Do you get mad easily
I wouldn't say mad, but unfortunately I do get irritated
quite easily, oopsy.

16. Favourite Music Artists
Rita Ora, Rihanna, Coldplay, The White Stripes, Calvin Harris and
Jessie J.

17. Any phobias
Yes, huge phobia of both spiders and heights :(

18. Do you bite your nails
Nope.

19. Have you ever had a near death experience
No, thank god.

20. Do you drink coffee
No, I'm a tea girl. I love coffee flavoured things (e.g. coffee and walnut cake)
but I just don't seem to like the drink, I really wish I did though,
hopefully one day!

If there's anything else you would like to ask me or if you have a question about anything I've answered please do not hesitate to just leave a comment down below and I will answer as soon as I can. I hope you enjoyed reading this and I tag all of you to try this out yourselves!:)

Speak to you soon.

My 5 Favourite Nail Polishes

I decided to do something a little different today, I'm going to show you my five favourite nail polishes. I'm the sort of girl who can't stand not having nail polish on her nails so for me nail polish is an absolute essential thing to have in my beauty bag. As you can imagine I've tried and tested many nail polishes and this is just a small selection of my absolute favourites.

Topshop Nails in Gypsy Night - I love this colour the multi-coloured glitter
gives it that extra special quality. The only downside is that it's very difficult
to remove, but apart from that it's great.

Essie in Lapiz of Luxury (94) - This is a fairly new colour in my collection but I
already love it. The colour is beautiful and bright and the pigmentation is
amazing, once again essie is a winner.
Rimmel London Lycra Professional Finish in Beige Babe (397) - I really love this
colour. Because it has the 'lycra' finish it dries extra shiny
which I love, it's like coming out of a salon. The one thing I don't like is the brush
it's way to big and they claim that there will be 'mistake free application' this
unfortunately is not the case for me.

Nails Inc. in Old Church Street - Nails Inc. is one of my favourite nail varnish
brands. Every time I wear this beautiful colour I always hear how much
other people love it. It's super easy to apply and is an overall winner for me.

Barry M Nail Paint in Berry Ice Cream - I really love Barry M nail varnishes
the colours are beautiful and there is so many to choose from. This
beautiful lilac nail varnish did not disappoint and you can see from the photo
that I'm half way through, I will definitely repurchase this.
From left to right: Barry M Nail Paint in Berry Ice Cream, Topshop Nails in Gypsy Night, Nails inc Nail Varnish in Old Church Street, Essie Nail Varnish in Lapiz of Luxury and Rimmel Lycra Professional Finish in Beige Babe.
So there they are in all their glory my five favourite nail varnishes. I must admit it was very tough to choose 5 I could of quite easily shown you my whole nail varnish collection. I hope you enjoy reading this and if there is anything else you would like to know please do not hesitate to comment.

Just a little thing I thought I'd mention is I'm aware that my last few posts have been very much beauty related and I claim to be a beauty and fashion blog. Please do not be misled I promise my next post will most definitely be on fashion and I'm hoping to do this tomorrow. I hope you've all had a good weekend.

Do you wear nail varnish often? What's your favourite colour?
Let me know!♥
